Master Meals
Terms of Use
Last updated: 9 September 2026
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Master Meals website, mobile app, and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.
Using Master Meals
You must use the Service lawfully and provide accurate information when creating or maintaining an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity that occurs through your account.
Family accounts
A family owner may invite up to five members. Once a member accepts, everyone in that family can view and change the family recipes, meal plans, shopping lists, and related shared activity. Only invite people you trust.
An invited person who already has a Master Meals account keeps their personal recipes and plans separate while they use the family account. If they leave or are removed, they regain access to that personal library; content they created in the family account stays with the family.
The family owner controls membership and the subscription. Members share the owner’s Premium access only while the owner’s subscription is active and they remain in the family. The owner can remove a member, and a member can leave, at any time.
Recipes and planning tools
Master Meals helps you organise recipes, meal plans, and shopping lists. Recipe information, nutritional information, ingredient substitutions, dietary labels, and AI-generated suggestions are provided for general information and convenience only. They are not medical, nutritional, allergy, or food-safety advice.
When you search for or import a public recipe, we may show and store a reusable snapshot from the publisher’s page. The source link remains attached, and any copy you add to your cookbook is independently editable.
Always check ingredient labels, cooking instructions, and food safety requirements yourself. If you have an allergy, medical condition, or dietary concern, consult an appropriately qualified professional before relying on a recipe or suggestion.
Chef Remy and AI features
AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your circumstances. Review all suggestions before using them, especially ingredient substitutions, cooking times, nutrition information, and allergy-related recommendations. Do not submit content you do not have the right to share.
Subscriptions and payment
Master Meals Premium is an auto-renewing subscription. The plans available to you, their prices in your local currency, the length of each billing period, and any free trial are shown in the app before you confirm a purchase.
Where you subscribe through the App Store, payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and the renewal is charged within the 24 hours before that period ends.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings, or from Manage subscription in the app’s Profile settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
If a free trial is offered to you, its length is shown before you subscribe. Free trials are usually available only to new subscribers, so if you have used one before, your subscription may begin as a paid subscription straight away. Your trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. If you buy a subscription while a free trial is running, the unused part of that trial is forfeited.
If we change the price of a subscription, we will tell you in advance, and the store will ask for your consent where it is required before the new price applies to a renewal.
Purchases made through the App Store are processed by Apple, and refunds for them are handled by Apple rather than by us. To request a refund, contact Apple Support. This does not affect any statutory rights you have that cannot be excluded.
If your subscription ends
If your subscription is cancelled, lapses, or a payment fails, access to the Master Meals app ends at the close of the period you have already paid for. An active subscription or free trial, whether your own or shared by your family owner, is required to use the app, including to view or manage recipes, meal plans, shopping lists, and Profile settings.
Your recipes, meal plans, shopping lists, and other content remain yours. Resubscribing restores access to the app. If you need help with your account or want to make a request about your data while you cannot access Profile, email chef.remy@mastermeals.app.
Your content
You retain ownership of the recipes, images, feedback, and other content you submit to the Service. You give us a limited right to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, improve, and provide the Service to you.
You must not submit content that infringes another person’s rights, is unlawful, or contains harmful code.
Third-party services and links
The Service may work with third-party services, including recipe websites, sign-in providers, and AI providers. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or services.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service from time to time. We aim to keep the Service available and useful, but do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Ending use of the Service
You can stop using the Service at any time. You can delete your account in the app’s Profile settings while you have app access, or contact us at chef.remy@mastermeals.app for account or data requests. We may suspend or end access where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, users, or others, or where these terms are breached.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not make warranties about the Service’s accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information.
Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service or applicable law changes. We will post the updated terms here and change the “Last updated” date. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms to the extent permitted by law.
